At the beginning of the episode where the 6 members were introducing each other by saying "hajimemashite" which is like saying nice to meet you, Takayuki mentioned that he works at a yakitori place in Karuizawa during the summer. It doesn not appear in the epsiode itself but the place is worth mentioning.
WAKADORI is the name of the restaurant that has 58 years of history. This Japanese authentic restaurant is famous for its chicken cuisines such as yakatori and grilled chicken prepared with special methods. The Instagram picture shows Takayuki wearing the uniform in front of the famous venue.
It used to be located near the famous tennis court where the current Japan’s Emperor met his future wife (current Empress) during their young days. Unfortunately they closed that place and moved to a new venue in December, 2017. I haven’t seen the new place and there are no information about it on the Internet yet.
For the first night, the members went to a supermarket to buy groceries to prepare for dinner. Takayuki took lead and proposed to make some kind of nabe (Japanese hot-pot dish). To us Japanese the nabe he prepared is kind of unique (kindo of poor contrast to the vacation house they are at) but I guess that's okay for teenagers.
DELiCiA is a supermarket that was newly opened on April 2017. There used to be a different supermarket but it was bought out by the new parent company Alpico Holdings. Alpico is one of the dominant companies that represents Shinshu area. It runs wide range of businesses such as transportation (buses and taxis), hotels and tourism, insurance, etc.
With its origin in Shinshu, DELiCiA is supporting young farmers and help develop Shinshu born produce and products. They sell all kinds of Shinshu born, from fresh produce such as fruits, vegetables and meat and processed goods like juice, jam, Japanese sake and wine.
They also sell all sorts of prepared food to take out and eat outside during your outdoor activities or have it in your hotel room when you had enough of lavishing dishes at restaurants. It is convenient to just buy some drinks or yogurt to add to your daily meal or some snacks to spoil yourself. They take credit cards and ATM is installed as well.
On Saturaday morning, Shion suggested if the members wanted to go and have fresh pastas for lunch at the place they had been talking about before. Minelba Sabo is one of the old cafes that is still open in such a fast changing town Karuizawa. It has been supported by repeating customers for over 40 years. The building is tangled with ivy and has the nostalgic Showa era atmosphere where you can rest leisurely. For dinner, they have wide selection of Italian menus such as fresh pasta with elasticity feel in the mouth and homemade pizzas. Especially, some people come to have the fresh porcini pasta every time they visit Karuizawa. Fresh pasta can be purchased to take home as well. Another recommendation is the specialty at Melba Sabo is the miso sauce pizza with many vegetables.
In the show this is soba restarurant that Takayuki and 3 girls visit which Tsubasa's father runs and learned about Tusbasa's childhood. The restaurant serves handmade soba and high-class Japanese-style cuisine at a reasonable price. The soba is made from Karuizawa produced buckwheat and has great soothing feeling in the throat. (Which is one important factor of a good handmade soba.) You can also have all sorts of Japanese cuisine and the most popular menu is the Saya-zen which includes great tempura with crispy batter served with algae salt or dipping soup extracted with Katsuobushi and Kombu. There are also wide variety of a la carte mainly vegetables and seafood. It is a great place to repeatedly visit. Shinshu area is very famous for handmade soba and there are countless number of soba restaurants within Nagano Prefecture. If you like soba, why not hop around several soba restaurants and find your favorite soba. Soba’s best season is in fall when the new buckwheat is harvested and is called Shin Soba. You can only enjoy the fresh new soba scent with Shin Soba. By the way did you notice that the actual restaurant name in kanji 冴(sa) and Tsubasa's kanji 冴(sa) is the same?
In the show this is the radio station in Sakudaira City where Takayuki and his brother have their program which is about 40 minutes away from Karuizawa by car in real life. FM Sakudaira is a local community radio station of Sakudaira City. Karuizawa has its own radio station FM Karuizawa too but I'm guessing that the TV show picked Sakudaira radio station because they wanted to picture Takayuki working in the city.
Next scene takes place at the ice skate rink in Kazakoshi Park where Tsubasa show’s up dressed in an ice hockey clothing looking sharp. She is the captain of the hockey team Karuizawa Fairies and the team goal is to win in the all-Japan championship. In the real world, Kazakoshi Park is a large comprehensive sports park with many sports facilities from ice arena, indoor ice skate rink which turns into a Futsal court and roller skating track during the summer, outdoor tennis court, playground, gymnasium, you name it. For the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, Curling took place at Kazakoshi Park in Karuizawa and is now open for the public use. Many figure skating professionals come to practice too. It would be fun to visit for you and your family if you like sports activities.
At near the end of the episode this is the bar restaurant where Takayuki and his brother are drinking. They are of course talking about the girls at Terrace House. I won’t go into details for people who haven’t seen the show yet. This restaurant owner loves outdoor activities like camping and mountain climbing and the concept of the restaurant is outdoor cafe and bar. Their main food is based on outdoor cooking and the atmosphere is designed to make people feel the greatness of outdoor life. Honestly I never heard of this place mainly because it’s in Sakudaira and not around Karuizawa so I have no insight of my own but it seems to be a very casual place good for young travelers. One tip though, if you stay at this place until their closing time, there aren't any public transportation back to Karuizawa. The only way back is by taxi which would be very costly.
This is the Italian restaurant where Shion and Yudai visit one day. Yudai, wearing sunglasses, asks the staff if they are currently hiring for a part time job. For some odd reason during the job interview Shion was sitting next to Yudai. In week6, Yudai gets hired and is seen doing the dishes as his first task. Anyway, the restaurant is fairly new and is their 10th anniversary this year. The chef and the manager who both love Italian wine met each other at the Mikasakaikan which in Ginza, Tokyo during their training years. Mikasakaikan is a large famous group company that operates various restaurants with the history of over 90 years. At Riposo, deep love of Italian wine went so far that they now have 600 types of wine at the restaurant. Utilizing Shinshu harvested vegetables and produced meat they are aiming to offer to be a great tasting Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Many vacation house owners come visit each year when they come to Karuizawa and even local people visit repeatedly. They leave Karuizawa by saying see you next year in autumn and in spring they come back saying I’m back! I never been to this place but I kind of got interested writing this. May be I should go next time I visit Karuizawa.
This is the laundromat which Shion and Ami went when the washing machine brokedown at the house. It opened in April, 2014 and the place is probably the most clean, bright, cozy laundromat in town. The place is run by a nice couple and either they or a staff is present at all times to support all kinds of washing needs. The machines are maintained very clean inside and out taking careful precautions so that unwanted material or substances enter. So if you have any concerns or have special needs you should definitely ask the staff if it is okay to use the machines. They have large capacity washing and dry machines that can take blankets and towels too. They even have shoes laundry machine. If you have kids there is a space for them to play around. If you are a long term foreign traveler, you should stop by here and get things cleaned before you move on to other regions. I'm not sure if the staff can attend in foreign language but I see few foreign travelers photos with a great smile on some SNS so I'm sure you should be able to work things out just perfectly. Just don't forget your smile!
Next morning Yudai goes to a job interview by bicycle. The restaurant he goes is located at Harunire Terrace called Cercle which is fairly close to Terrace House in real life. It consists of a French restaurant with wine sommelier and delicatessen where you can buy some restaurant a la carte from the showcase to take home, and wine a shop. You can select your wine with the owner sommelier from about 300 variations from the wine shop, select some a la carte from the deli and order some French fine cuisine at the restaurant and complete your own selected dinner. You can also enjoy wine at the counter listening to lecturing talk with the sommelier too. It is mix of a very casual French restaurant and deli. I never eaten at the restaurant but I normally go to the deli to buy some a la carte to add to my dinner at my place. There are several restaurants at Harunire Terrace such as Japanese, Chinese, Italian, bakery shops and some speciality shops to enjoy. The area is operated by the famous Hoshino Resort.
After the job interview the usual four members (other than Takayuki and Tsubasa) headed to the shopping outlet by Shion driving and Yudai sitting next to the driver’s seat. When Shion asked Yudai how much money did he bring to shop he answers may be about ¥2,000 in cash which is about 18 USD or 530 TWD. The Karuizawa Shopping Plaza offers world's leading brands, luxury brands, fashion goods, accessories, sports items, outdoor gear, and more with close to 240 shops. When you actually go there you quickly notice ¥2,000 won’t get you almost nothing. That’s why Mizuki instantly said that ¥2,000 is such a tight budget. Yudai returns by saying it’s no problem because he has his daddy’s credit card. I guess they wanted to express the credit card are accepted. So when you are there you don’t have to worry about cash unlike other places in Karuizawa. Make sure though to shop around wisely. If you love shopping you will most likely consume a whole day and lose the valuable opportunity to enjoy Karuizawa fully.
This is where Takayuki snowboards during the winter. Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort is one of the easiest accessible resorts from Tokyo which is just in front of you when you arrive at Karuizawa station by Hokuriku Shinkansen. Though it gets pretty cold below 0°C in the winter it doesn't snow that much in Karuizawa so the snow machines are hard at work to maintain the snow trail. That’s why the first picture shows very little snow as it was still quite warm when they opened up this season. If you are looking for more snow dense ski resort there are many that are accessible from Karuizawa that are an hour or two away.
The ski resort offers good condition trails mainly for beginner and intermediate level skiers, as well as snow parks. The night picture shown is the Night Adventure where you can enjoy the glorious sky with full of stars while riding the illumination boat on a night ski trail. You can also experience a ride up to the 1,155m summit at the snow resort on a snow buggy to enjoy the fantastic night view of Karuizawa in the Karuizawa Ski Night Tour. For guests who do not ski or snowboard are allowed to use the lifts to go up, and to see the view splendid Karuizawa's winter scenery also.
Tsubasa and Shion goes to Kusatsu Onsen by car which is about 42km away. Though it is not in the Karuizawa district this onsen resort is famous as one of the three major onsen in Japan and would be a great trip from Karuizawa and is highly recommended to all foreign tourists. Kusatsu is nothing like Karuizawa which has strong western culture influence where Kusatsu is a very traditional Japanese tourist site. However the town has been putting effort to support and welcome foreign tourists so you should have little problem in terms of language.
It is one of Japan's most famous hot spring resorts and is blessed with large volumes of high quality hot spring water said to cure every illness except for lovesickness. Kusatsu is situated at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture, and offers skiing in winter and hiking during the rest of the year to be enjoyed in combination with hot spring bathing.
The symbol “Yubatake” (hot water field) is a facility that collects hot spring constituents Yunohana (hot-spring incrustations) and adjusts the temperature of hot water. The scene which pours hot water with wooden gutterings is picturesque which is shown in the second photo. 4,000 liters of hot water gushes out every minute at Kusatsu Onsen and is proud of the best natural discharge in Japan which makes the “Yubatake” also huge and spectacular.
“Yukemuri-tei” is a free Hot-Spring Footbath next to the “Yubatake”. Built in a traditional thatched cottage style with cypress wood called Azumaya, and is a replica of the Matsu-no-yu public bathhouse that stood at the same location during the Edo era. By soaking your hands or feet for just a few minutes in the water, you'll be able to feel the therapeutic effects due to the water's high acidity which is the outstanding nature of Kusatsu Onsen.
Kusatsu Onsen Tourist Association created several awesome videos showcasing Kusatsu Onsen in 4K (ultra HD) for each 4 seasons. (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) Even from my perspective, they are beautiful and great to watch. It's a must see!
You may have heard about the volcanic eruption that occured on 2018/1/23 in Kusatsu. It is said to have been 3,000 years since the last large scale eruption. However, it is classified as a phreatic eruption and not magmatic or phreatomagmatic eruption. Therefore there are no danger of magma flowing out or volcanic mudflow due to melted snow will not occur. In Japan, there is the Volcanic Alert Levels with the scale of 1 to 5 and the government raised the Volcanic Alert Level from 2 to 3 which restricts from approaching the volcano, Mount Kusatsu-Shirane. The mayor of Kusatsu issued a restriction of enterning 2km radius from the crator. Mount Kusatsu-Shirane and Kusatsu Onsen district is over 5km away so there is no danger. Tenguyama and Onariyama skiing ground has resumed open. These are based on official announcement by the government (Japan Meterology Agency). Town of Kusatsu and JMA are watching close on the development closely so do not get too scared. The official annoucement by Japan Meterology Agency about Mt. Kusatsu-Shirane development can be read here in English in detail.
This is the gym where Tsubasa works for part time. It is within the Kazakoshi Park where the ice arena is also located that Tsubasa practices ice hockey. Scap Karuizawa was reopened on April, 2014 after renovation as an all year round indoor swimming pool. There are 3 pools, for adults (120cm deep), for children (50cm deep), and for toddlers (30cm deep).
In the pool arena, sauna room and jacuzzi was newly installed and on the second floor a train room was built. There are various swimming lessons for adults and children to take and at the gym you can have your own personal menu created and get personal training including stretching in pairs with the personal trainer.
When Ami and Yudai went out on a drive date to goto an aerial adventure park they stopped by at a bagel cafe restaurant, Lucky Bagel for lunch. It is located within the Kusatsu Onsen district so it is not in Karuizawa. They sell bagels and bagel sandwiches at the front and has 12 seats at the back for eat-in. They moved from another place and reopened on June of 2012. The shop owner wishes every visitor to sooth their body by bathing in onsen and eat healthy and low calorie diet like their bagels and get refreshed in the area. With those feelings in mind they bake 5 to 6 various bagels everyday that differ each day. The most popular plain bagel is sold everyday. If you are tired of Japanese local food, it may be a great place to drop by for a break.
This is the aerial adventure park where Yudai wanted to take Ami to which she had no interest what’s so ever. They came to the place at the end but they just looked from the front while Ami said it may have been fun if it was in the summer and left the place. Yudai was imagining to hold Ami's hands while they experience the adventure but didn't even get a chance so he got very disappointed. The place is actually closed during the winter season anyway so it was his bad on his poor research. Anyway, it is located in the Kusatsu Onsen area and it stands within the Kusatsu Onsen Resort Hotel Nakazawa Village. The outdoor aerial adventure has 42 attractions which is one of the largest in Japan. You can move through the woods at a bird’s eye height and scurry down the rope slider and land to finish. It seems to be great fun taking your kids to enjoy outdoor nature.
Though this place is owned and run by a Tokyo based company and this is the only one out of Tokyo, they care about “harvested locally and consumed locally” and serve carefully prepared Shinshu cuisines. They specilize in chicken but also serve many Shinshu famous fish from the Chikuma river, very special rice from Saku, during the seasons edible wild plants, gibier cuisines such as boar and wild duck.
Yudai has lunch with his mother here where he whines that he wants to run away from the house. This is a breakfast cafe where you can have fine açaí bowl and they also serve so called "3rd wave coffee". The cafe owner's wife is originally from Brazil where açaí bowl originated. The place has open natural atmosphere and free Wi-Fi is available.
Shion and Tsubasa enjoyed playing one on one basketball here. The Kazakoshi Park Gymnasium was opened on July 2014. It has a main arena which can be used for all sorts of ball games, a subarea with tatami floor that can be used to practice martial arts such as Judo and Kendo, studio for various dances and even for ping-pong games, and enjoy all kinds of indoor sports. Each floor can be reserved for tournament games or for training camps. The main arena has audience seats and can be used for all sorts of professional sports competitions or for exhibition matches.
Shion and Takayuki goes to drink here and Shion talks about his feelings towards Tsubasa. Enishiya is a local authentic Japanese restaurant where they care about “harvested locally and consumed locally” and serve great cuisines utilizing carefully selected local harvests. I have never been here but many people are saying that this place serves very reasonable lunch at a price mostly under ¥1,000 which is very rare around Karuizawa which are mostly over priced towards tourists.
Ami and Tsubasa goes out to the yakitori place Takayuki works. The new place is used in the scene which just opened last Decemeber. WAKADORI is the name of the restaurant that has 58 years of history. This Japanese authentic restaurant is famous for its chicken cuisines such as yakatori and grilled chicken prepared with special methods.
It used to be located near the famous tennis court where the current Japan’s Emperor met his future wife (current Empress) during his young days. Unfortunately they closed that place and moved to a new venue in December, 2017. I haven’t seen the new place and there are no information about it on the Internet yet.
Tsubasa and Shion goes to Zenkoji to pray for victory. The two draws the fortune slip.
Zenkoji temple has been revered for over 1400 years as Japan’s primary center of Buddhist faith. Zenkoji houses the first Buddhist statue to come to Japan, attracting pilgrims from all denominations. 6 million visitors come every year to be awed by this masterpiece of Buddhist architecture. It is the largest temple in all of eastern Japan and testament to the faith of its followers. In 1998, the bells of Zenkoji rang in the start of the Winter Olympics in a wish for world peace.

This is where Tsubasa and Shion have lunch which is near Nagano's Zenkoji Temple. The architecture of the restaurant is built with care and reproducing 100 years ago creating a cozy environment. You can relax and enjoy various sake and fresh seafood.
Takayuki takes Ami out to this cafe which is located at top of the moutain at 1,260m above sea level which is about 15 minutes away by car from Karuizawa. Not only you can see the whole view of Karuizawa from high grounds, if the skies are clear you can see range of mountains around including the Minami Alps.
Tenku Cafe Aura's concept is a hideout place for adults and children under the age of middle school is forbidden. On the contrary, the place is very dog friendly and you can bring along your dog for the terrace seats. There is a metal fitting where you can hook the dog leash too. Unfortunaltey, Tenku Cafe Aura closed down on 2018.11.5 and the place has been sold to a new owner in 2019.
When Seina landed in Karuizawa this is where she was picking wine to bring to Terrace House at the entrance scene. AU DEPART is a wine bar which opened within the former Karuizawa station that was in use until Hokuriku Shinkansen was built. All the wines are made in Nagano Prefecture and you can enjoy various selection from red, white, rosé, sparkling, and cidre. You can order glass wines too.
Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Street is where Seina went out with Takayuki soon after she moved in. This is the main shopping street in Karuizawa and it used to be the main place for tourist to go shopping until the KARUIZAWA PRINCE SHOPPING PLAZA was built on the other side of Karuizawa station. It is still nice to walk around and see the shops along the street. It has lost it's local charm in recent years but there are still some shops with history around to enjoy. The bakery where John Lennon loved is located here and you can purchase that bread there. I would recommend to explore shops and cafés that don't look "Tokyo'ish" since you came all the way to Karuizawa.
After walking around Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Street, Takayuki and Seina went to this café. The name of the restarurant is Norwegian meaning "burning fire by firewood" and you can see the stovepipe from outside. The interior is made from many wood and has a Karuizawa-ness environment and enjoy homemade cakes. When I was checking the opening hours and closed days around the internet, threre were many variations which I could not comfirm. They do not have there own website or any SNS or any sorts so I would recommend you to call them before you go.
This is the place where Tsubasa and Shion goes ice skating. KERA-IKE Ice Rink is part of Hoshino Resort and is run by Hoshino. In winter the KERA-IKE (ike means lake in Japanese) freezes and the natural ice rink appears. At the beginning of the season and around the end of the season when the temperature is not cold enough the ice rink with a cooling device opens for skating. If you are not used to ice skating you can rent a chair sled which you can hold onto while you move around on ice. There is also a rink side cafe where you can enjoy hot drinks by the fireplace.
Ami and Takayuki went snowboarding to Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort which is about an hour from Karuizawa by car. The snow resort consist of four ski areas run by each organization. The two went to Sugadaira Kogen Hare Ski & Snowboard Resortwhich has 5 slopes and 7 lifts. Ami and Takayuki was at the Omote Davos Gelende.
Suwa Shrine is just a few mintue walk away from Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Street mentioned last episode. Unlike the shopping street area it sits in a very quiet and sacred wooded area. It is nice to come here and rest for a while and enjoy the quiet moment. The deity of the shrine is Takeminakatanokami which is also known as a god of the wind. It is also known as a shrine which you can hold a Shinto-style wedding. There are many shrines in Japan that have the name Suwa so don't get confused with others if you are searching on the internet.
Ami, Takayuki, Shion, Shohei goes to Appi Kogen to attend a large music festival event APPI JAZZY SPORT 2018. Takayuki is invited to the event as a snowboarder. Shohei arranged himself to attend to meet with the music artists there in hopes to connect for his future music business. Appi Kogen is one of the famous ski resorts in Japan which is in Iwate Prefacture. At night, Takayuki asks Ami out to snowboard together. It is over 600km away from Karuizawa.
Takayuki and Shion goes to ABC-MART to buy Ami's birthday present. They've decided to buy her Vans classic skate shoe, the Old Skool because Ami once mentioned she wanted them but due to its popularity it has been scarce to buy. ABC-MART is one of the largest nationwide shoes chain stores in Japan. If you are a shoes fan, you would probably go here whether you are in major cities like Tokyo, Shibuya, Osaka, etc. The exact shop that was shot in the show is the one in Sakudaira city which is where Takayuki is from and is about 40 mintues from Karuizawa by car.
Takayuki and Shohei goes shopping to buy some decorations and goods to prepare for Ami and Shion's birthday party. The Karuizawa Shopping Plaza offers world's leading brands, luxury brands, fashion goods, accessories, sports items, outdoor gear, and more with close to 240 shops.

Tsubasa and Shion came here on a lunch date. This coffee shop is a very quiet and cozy environment. You can have chiffon cakes and curry too.
Ami and Takayuki comes here to see Tsubasa play. Takayuki asks Ami if she really meant it when she said if Takayuki was 5 years younger during week 12.
Takayuki, Shohei, and Seina came here for dinner. While they argued about their feelings towards Ami they got drunk. The restaurant is a Japanese Izakaya Style Dining that specializes in Tofu cuisines. During the winter seasons they have various oyster menus as well.
This is a reasonable lodge-style hotel at Sugadaira Kogen Snow Resort which is about an hour from Karuizawa by car. Takayuki was here to snowboard for his sponsor Murasaki Sport's promotion video shoot.
Shohei takes Ami to Yunomaru Ski Slopes which is located just about an hour from Karuizawa by car. It is known for the great powder snow and wide slopes and best of all it is uncongested unlike the ski slopes at Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort which is packed with people. The restaurants are reasonable too. It is also great for families and kids.
Nana's is a supermarket which is loacated about 30 minutes from Karuizawa station and is about 10 minutes from Sakudaira station which is where Takyuki originates and where he works as a radio personality for FM Sakudaira.
Shohei and Mayu came here to have lunch and had pizza and pasta. La Luce is an Italian restaurant in Karuizawa and the concept is local harvest for local consumption. They have contract farmers who harvest organic vegetables (not all) in Shinshu (some in Karuizawa). The owner is a mother of a young child and the restaurant has many helpful amenities for similar customers. Please note that you will be asked to take your shoes off at this restaurant.
Takayuki introduced this shrine to Shion and he went to purchase a charm called "Katsumori" which is to wish for victory. Shion says since he can't go watch her game until the final match, he says to hold on to this charm. Kumanokoutai Jinja is a shrine which is located at the top of the Usui Pass at 1,200m above sea level and it stands in a very unique property which is one of the reasons for its fame. The shrine is standing at the very edge of the border of Nagano Prefecture and there is another different shrine standing concurrently at the edge of Gunma Prefecture divided by the border. The view from the Usui Pass is excellent.
The home base of Tsubasa's ice hockey team seen several times in the show.
Tsubasa's father's soba place Sasa. This time Shion and Takayuki came here to celebrate Tsubasa winning the game at Osaka. Tsubasa's father was happy to hear his daughter's victory and for the two coming over to celebrate so he said to them that he'll close the restaurant ealry so let's have a drink later. When Tsubasa's father joined, he talked about Tsubasa's backround and her childhood and shared some very personal feelings.

Tsubasa's father's soba place Sasa. This time Tsubasa talks with her father about Shion.
In the 2nd video clip added later, 5 members (Takayuki, Shion, Shohei, Seina, and Tsubasa) went to this yakiniku place. Shohei says he wants to hear what Seina's current situation is like and Seina, probably on purpose she somehow takes it personal and answers that among the 3 men at Terrace House, Shohei is her type. Shohei blushes and seems happy.
This yakiniku restaurant is one of the cheapest place you can eat in Karuizawa. It seems that more locals go here rather than tourists so it doesn't get much crowded.
This is the soba dojo or a place to practice and make soba, where Shohei came with Seina on a date. Kusabue has the history of over 400 years.
This is where Tsubasa and Shion went, when Tsubasa asked Shion to go out to see some night view after she came back from Canada. It is a farely large park standing at a top of a hill where you can see the top of the famous Mount Fuji. It also has Komorokougen Museum・ShiratoriEisetsu Museum within the park.
This ice skating rink is actually not in Nagano but in Hokkaido where Tsubasa went to participate playing in the hockey team "Sapporo Infinities". The team had offered her to join and play with them in there team. Tsubasa came to try out to see and think about what to about her hockey career. This place is exclusive for ice hockey and figure skating but is open to public on weekends and holidays.
Below are the two places that Tsubasa and Mayu went, seen in the "Other Videos" that are not mentioned at the Offical Netflix site.
In the video, Mayu and Tsubasa were walking around Kyu-Karuizawa Ginza Street seen in previous episodes. It's a cafe restaurant where you can have several kinds of sweets. Their No.1 popular menu is the Karuizawa pudding using Kita Karuizawa Kogen milk and selected ingredients. In the scene, Mayu and Tsubasa bought a curry bread at the outside shop. It is like a fried doughnut stuffed with curry. You can also buy their sweets at the shop to take out.
After eating the curry bread, Mayu and Tsubasa went to NICOcafe as they walked along the street. The two ordered some sweets and drinks and had girl talks. The owner of NICOcafe is a mother who had the dream of opening a cafe for 35 years and is currently run with her 3 daughters. Their special dish is the special curry which the mother makes from her selected spices. You can also have several sweets which are made by the three daughters along with hand dripped coffee.
Tsubasa came here with her ice hockey teammates. She talked about how she is thinking about her future hockey career and confessed that now she kanow has a boyfriend. This place serves Japanese traditonal cuisines and sake. It is located near Karuizawa station and is open till late night unlike most restaurants in Karuizawa.
This is where Seina and Shohei came for strawberry picking on a date. It is located about just a little over an hour from Karuizawa by car. It is open throughout the year but pricing varies depending on the season and may be crowded during the high season. Reservation recommended.
After strawberry picking, Shohei and Seina stopped by Otomeko Park to have lunch in the park. Shohei prepared lunch box for her. It is located about 30 minutes from Karuizawa and is about in the middle between the Anzunosato Agripark above. This is a comprehensive park which has several institutions from education to sports and forest areas.
Takayuki and Mayu came to have dinner. Mayu askes Takayuki if he dislikes her. trattoria Primo is one of the famous Italian restaurant in Karuizawa for its delicious pizzas. Their salads and pastas are great also. It is so popular that during the high season expect to wait a long line. They do not take reservations.
The beloved Sasa, Tsubasa's father's soba restaurant. It is the most visited and appeared place throughout this season but this may be the last time to be seen in the show. Now that Tsubasa is graduating and leaving Terrace House, we sureley with miss Tsubasa and Sasa!!

The deity of the shrine is Takeminakatanokami which is also known as a god of the wind. It is also known as a shrine which you can hold a Shinto-style wedding. There are many shrines in Japan that have the name Suwa so don't get confused with others if you are searching on the internet.

Maya asks, out of the 3 which is the least favorable and have no chance what's so ever, they all answered Souta and the studio members shouted with joy. Everyone continues picking on how bad Souta's personality and reactions and how much he really suck.
Kaito and Yui goes to this music festival called Apple Music Festival 2018 by Yui driving the car. One little note on why it has the name "Apple" is because Nagano Prefecture is known for grwoing Apples and many are harvested during this Autumn season. (not Apple as in iPhones) At the event, the former Terrace House member Shohei was one of the singers and was shown singing his song while Yui and Kaito grooved.
Maya and Kaito comes here on a date. This place is a amusement facility where you can experience some trick art.

After being rejected by Risako, Souta asks Maya to go to this beer brewery. Maya was willing to go just to see and find more of Souta's crewed up personality to tell other members.
After being rejected by Maya (Wow! 2 rejections in one episode), Souta and Kaito came here to skateboard. While the studio members having had too much of Souta but Souta himself just doesn't realize how screwed up he is, he tells Kaito that he has decided to gradutate and leave Terrace House.
This week was about the introduction of the new member who is a bassist of one of the famous J-Pop music band Gesu-No-Kiwami. No scene location introduction this week since there were no scene taken in Karuizawa area.

Though this is not shown at the official site, this is the bakery where Masao went to buy bread in the morning to prepare lunch for Risako which she said she wanted to go someday. I personally like this place and go from time to time.

After going to the Shiraito Falls Risako and Masao went to this cafe and ate some cake and coffee. Risako asked if he has any live event planned and asked is she can go. Masao in return somewhat tried to express his feelings towards her between his words. Yama chan and the studio members said his cute!

One night, when Yui comes home from her job searching activities wearing a suit, Aio asks out her to go out to this bar. Aio confesses his feelings to Yui how much he has become in love with her. Yui denies his confession for the moment by and says this is not a confession right? several times. She says she never had thought that Aio was looking at her in that way and she'll try to see him in that way from now on and see how things go.
After being caught in the chaotic dispute between Yui, Aio, and Maya, Risako was really in a painful situation. Masao took Risako out for lunch here and tried to ease her and in the show Risako kind of got relieved and showed some smile and the studio members were feeling at rest too.
This is a Japanese soba restaurant. Masao was having the Tempura Soba (cold) and Risako was having Kamonan Soba (hot soup with duck and welsh onions).
Risako and Masao came here on a date to this glass art atelier where they made their original glass with blown glass. It is located along the Karuizawa Bypass road and will need to go there by car or taxi from Karuizawa station.
After the blowing glass date, Risako and Masao came here to have lunch. Masao once again emphasised how he is in love with Risako. He continued to say that even with all the commotion going on at Terrace House, he'll always be there for her and he hopes that'll make her feel relieved.
This week most of the scenes took place in Tokyo area and the only place in Karuizawa was the Prince Shopping Plaza.
This is not introduced at the official site but this is the bakery where Masao bought the french bread and prepared breakfast for Risako one morning. This place has been known for its history that John Lennon used to come here all the time to buy this french bread in the morning during his stay in Karuizawa. Though it is not a fancy bakery like the latest eye flashing bakeries in Tokyo but I personally like there bread.
Masao took out Risako here just to walk through the Christmas illuminations and he tried to express his real feelings towards her once again. He even tried to hold her hands but was rejected that it is not appropriate yet.
This is the very last episode of this Karuizawa series. This week many scenes took place throughout Japan. The only place in Karuizawa was the beloved Tsubasa's fathers place, Sasa.
The beloved Sasa, Tsubasa's father's soba restaurant. It is the most visited and appeared place throughout this season. We get to see Tsubasa and Shion!
The source of the images on this page is from the Terrace House official site and their credit belong to them each respectively.
This week, most of the scenes were taken at major cities outside of Nagano Prefecture such as Nagoya and Tokyo. Tsubasa's championship match took place at the Nihongaishi Arena in Nagoya and Shohei had his music meeting in Nishiazabu, Tokyo. We will not go into details about them since this site is focused on offering information around Karuizawa. Since this episode's leading role is Tsubasa, Sasa is again the key place of the story. Please refer to other episodes for more information about Sasa.
On another note, Netflix released the other story videos 1 day later than usual this week. I'm guessing that they had different videos ready but since the internet audience were all unhappy about this week's story, not to mention Yama-chan's irritation was off the roof, I'm guessing they rushed and made a replacement to ease everybody's frustration especially video2 (link above). As a result and somewhat proof to my theory, the newly added video clip included scenes where the members went out to 2 different restaurants talking about Shohei and Seina's relationship but it is not included on the official story page. We've added the two restaurants below for our readers.
